Commission done for thespark1yturtle's Twitch banner. Orange County is full of beautiful beaches, and I wanted to capture the mystical feeling I feel from looking out into the sea. Long Beach was a huge inspiration for this image. thespar1yturtle is also dancer, and loves turtles.
This is Character Concept/Test for "High Ground", it needed the black and white to represent the shadows and expression of the 1930's era. I drew the top scene with the concept of competition and class, I wanted to show frustration between the characters but through exaggeration. The first image ended up being used for the Indiegogo's Gallery page, and Facebook.
The portrait was an image I drew, just for pleasure, for Jeremy Stebens. I loved this character idea, and really wanted to project the overall personality that I read from the script. Unfortunately, the movie will not be animated, due to budgeting reasons, but this image was used as a project "pitch" idea. Drawn with basic pen and ink on mixed media paper.

Upcoming project from © Amora Game 2017. I also did the typography for this image.
This is a picture of our current cat Boo. She is a three-legged beast. They had to cut off her leg when she was a kitten because her umbilical chord cut off circulation. This was drawn a few days before I brought her home. Drawn with just black ink, and edited on the computer.
I drew this with the intent to make her look like she came from an old educational book about bizarre creatures from the unknown world.
Race design for Kemonomimi: Moe Races. The cover child of the book. Rolling through the forums (when the book got published), a friend told me that this character shot in popularity. I had not known male bunnies were in high demand. He is based off of the Hip-Hop style, He is a cunning (but fail worthy) trader who is highly charismatic, and almost never-successful. None the less, I can see why people like him and get fooled by his charms.
The female usagimimi was the first of my drawings for this book. I tried exceptionally hard to change my art style for this project. She is also based off of a "trader" who gets tanned from the sun and bargains with people. She's extremely clever and also based off of Hip-hop.
Race design for Kemonomimi: Moe Races. The inspiration for this character is a mixture of Japanese theater and modern dance. I really wanted to portray a whimsical splash of colors and over-exaggeration. She's not mean, but she's rather tricky. She's also a happy-go-lucky who wants be a friend of everyone.
One of my friends got me really into doing more commissions, so I essentially based the male Araiguma off of him, as homage to his support. An excitable, and young Araiguma with lots of optimistic spirit, but chooses to a darker path. These character's shoes are actually jazz shoes. Another combination between Japanese theater and dance.
Race design for Kemonomimi: Moe Races. My family has an old friend who is cheeky priest. He doesn't look like this character, but he's flows with the same aloofness. This character is the type of guy who would most likely betray you because he can, and thinks its funny. He also loves to make sure he has access to your party's wallet...
The female Akaimimi is heavily based off of ballet. Her shoes are actually pointe shoes, but her Chinese dress and top are made to look more organic than classic silk. She is very serious, almost expressionless, but retains her poise and dignity like a noble-woman.
Race design for Kemonomimi: Moe Races. My fiance' had a German Shepard that died sometime late 2015. I wanted to commemorate his best friend, Espresso, a hyper dog with an uplifting soul. I imagined this character as a someone who loves kids, tends to the farms, and watchfully guard's her village. I used lyrical dance as a way to interpret this character and a little bit of theater.
This male inumimi is based off of a blue pit-bull with Tibetan traditional clothes. I love Pit-Bulls and think they are cool and tough creatures. I wanted to portray a robust, and seasoned character. He's thick skinned from all the battles he's had to deal with, but is still rooted in family tradition. Another character based off lyrical and play-setting.
Character design drawn for newly titled "Art of War" project. This character is heavly based on the concept of onna-bugeisha.
